My name is KeriAnn Libby and I am a junior at Lock Haven. I am majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in vocal music. I am from Connecticut, but came to Pennsylvania to attend nursing school at Mount Aloysius College. I did not care for nursing or the school, so I switched majors and schools, which leaves me to where I am today.
The technology that I have received in my learning have been computers, overhead projectors, CD players, DVD players, TVs, SmartBoards, and Elmos. Although, this is a lot of equipment, I have not been instructed on how to use many of these items.
Through this class I would like to become technologically literate. I know how to do simple tasks on a computer, such as using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, but there are many things that I do not know how to do, like this blog I am currently writing. I hope that I can become better with technology so that I can teach my future students how to be efficient with technological equipment.
